Prepare for a fantastic end to the exciting J League season

This is where all the football games wind up in the Japanese top flight. After two Stages, 34 match days and 3060 minutes, only two sides remain standing in contention for J-League supremacy. Football betting in Japan is getting interesting as Urawa Red Diamonds edge closer to the J-League title. Kashima Antlers will want to get even away from their home ground and force the game (and betting odds) to extra-time.

      What characterises the first match between the two sides is the aggression. Both teams committed a total of 46 fouls in 90 minutes, and four players got booked. Kashima had the ball a bit more than Urawa and had more shot attempts. However, the Kashima defence conceded a terrible penalty after 53 minutes. Yuki Abe did not fail to capitalise on the mistake and converted the penalty to the only goal that eventually won them the game. Ishii Masatada may field a more offensive starting XI in order to force the issue to Urawa. Mihailo Petrovic, meanwhile, should be more than happy to use the same 3-4-3 he used in the first game. I won’t be  surprised if he employs a more defensive tactic, however.

       The game now lies on the individuals on the pitch. Suzuki Yuma and Kanazaki Mu will be leading the charge towards Nishikawa Shusaku and the Urawa back line. Meanwhile, Koroki Shinzo may add another notch to his already impressive goal tally this season. The Urawa Reds have proven their dominance in the Second Stage of the season, and Kashima may need to use all the tricks they have in the bag to prevent them from lifting the trophy in front of an adoring Saitama crowd.
