High-stakes football games are always an exciting watch

Every game and point matters at this point of the Bundesliga season. That being said, we can look forward to a lot of rewarding betting odds and results that can confound even the most seasoned football prediction expert. This weekend’s results can mean anything from European football to relegation doom. These teams have something to fight for and will give us with nothing but fantastic football!

Koln vs Hoffenheim

The weekend begins with an interesting tussle at the upper half of the table. Koln will be hosting Hoffenheim at the worst time possible: they’ve lost three of their last five matches against teams they should have easily won against. Hoffenheim will be a tough test for Peter Stoger’s lads. Julian Nagelsmann’s lads have won four of their last five games; their last duel was a high-scoring 5-3 victory against Monchengladbach. Hoffenheim -0.50 @ 2.25 is a tempting punt for this game.

Bayern Munich vs Mainz 05

Bayern Munich exited Europe after Real Madrid thrashed them in extra time, so expect the Bavarians to come in frustrated and ready to win. Mainz pulled off an impressive victory against Hertha BSC but will be in trouble against a focused Bayern Munich.

Hertha BSC vs Wolfsburg

Berlin desperately need to win their game against Wolfsburg at the Olympiastadion Berlin. Hertha Berlin are continuing their skid off the top after losing four of their last five games. Another loss could mean them dropping off the Europa League spots and Wolfsburg securing their safety.

Hamburger SV vs Darmstadt 98

Hamburg are still far from ensuring their Bundesliga survival but are in a much better condition compared to the visiting Darmstadt. The Lilies have only won their fifth league game after barely beating Schalke late in the match. Hamburg will want to repeat the result of their previous meeting, and they have the players to do so. Saying that, -1.25 @ 1.96 for Hamburg is a good deal to take.

Ingolstadt vs Werder Bremen

Werder Bremen are flying through the table and are close to European football.  Meanwhile, Ingolstadt are down in the dumps after a terrible loss to Wolfsburg. Both teams need the three points to edge closer to their aspirations, so we can expect an interesting display of attacking football.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Augsburg

Augsburg are a win away from safety while Frankfurt are several points off from European football. Both clubs have struggled to win as of late and will need a win to improve their ranking in the pecking order. Augsburg will be coming into this match confidently, however: they secured a 2-1 victory against Koln.

Borussia Monchengladbach vs Borussia Dortmund

The second half of the Battle of the Borussias is looking to be an exciting one! Monchengladbach saw their unbeaten streak cut short by Hoffenheim. Dortmund are also in low spirits after Monaco saw them off the Champions League. Both teams will be hungry for victory, but Thomas Tuchel has better players than Dieter Hecking’s. This match will most likely end in another rout, so Dortmund’s -0.75 Asian Handicap for 2.49 is not the worst of odds out there.

Freiburg vs Bayer Leverkusen

Bayer Leverkusen haven’t scored in three of their last five games, but they have a chance of turning things around when they visit Freiburg. The hosts haven’t had the most pristine record at the Schwarzwald-Stadion, so this is a chance for Tayfun Korkut’s side to grab some points.

Schalke 04 vs RB Leipzig

Schalke are looking trouble in the eye when the Red Bulls stomp their feet at the VELTINS-Arena. The young guns have won four on the bounce, while the hosts have only won once in five games. This is a sure win for the Red Bull-sponsored club unless Markus Weinzierl comes up with a brilliant tactic.
