Wimbledon Men’s Singles SF

The mobile betting community was rattled when Roger Federer was the last one among the Top Four at Wimbledon. With Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray knocked out of the competition due to their injuries, everyone and their mother hold their breath for Roger Federer. Should the ever-classy Swiss win it all, it confirms this year as a renaissance for the sport’s old guards, the celebrated champions.

Federer can make any casual fan bet online, but it pays to take a step back and observe the rest of the competition. Every single player in the last four has as much chance as Federer in winning it all.

Sam Querrey vs Marin Cilic

Sam Querrey may have been helped by Murray’s hip problems, but the first three sets proved that he is playing a great game against the World No1. This most recent victory is slowly building Querrey’s reputation in Wimbledon as a giant killer. Meanwhile, Cilic fought the good fight against Gilles Muller, eventually winning the game on full sets.

Both of these men want to reach their first major final, and this is the best chance they’ll ever get in a while. Querrey will be counting on his powerful serves to get him through while Cilic will be fighting with power in the open court. Personally, I think Cilic will be the one to first experience his Wimbledon final, so punters should go with Cilic -1.50 @ 1.65.

Roger Federer vs Tomas Berdych

Novak Djokovic’s disappointing exit due to injury may have marred Tomas Berdych’s entry to the semi-finals, but it’s hard to discredit the fantastic form he’s been in throughout the tournament. He had to beat David Ferrer and weathered a long siege from Dominic Thiem to get to his third Wimbledon semi-final.

Unfortunately for the Czech, he is facing a King Roger who has looked invincible throughout the tournament’s duration. The 35-year-old continues to defy his age to win straight sets against competitors at least five years younger than him. His hard-to-hit serves and varied attacks make him as much of a trouble as the next top-ranking player.

Berdych would have to pull off a miracle in order to reach the final. His recent matches against Federer didn’t end well, and this game might be another notch in the Swiss’ run to the Wimbledon trophy. Punters shouldn’t hesitate to pick Federer -1.50 @ 1.32.
