EcoPayz

1. Getting started

Firstly, you are required to click the “Sign Up” section on the website and fill in your details in the appropriate sections. Registration is free of charge, and security questions are expected to be answered for ecoAccount holders. It is required that if you do lose your password, you are still able to restore your account by answering the security questions.

2. Deposit funds

You can deposit funds into your account using either a credit or debit card, local bank deposit, local services and international deposits. If you need instructions on these deposit methods, login to your ecoAccount and go to the “Deposit” section. If you are using bank deposits, the reference number that can be observed at the instructions page should be inserted into the “Payment Details”, in the payment order section. In order to make a deposit, you are required to validate the appropriate credit or debit card. This is conducted to verify the card details and make sure that the credit card belongs to you. Deposits that are made through wire transfers usually take up to 1-4 business days.

3. Managing and withdrawing funds

There are features similar to other bank account that lets you view reports and statistics on your accounts. You can withdraw funds by logging into your ecoAccount and heading to the “Withdraw” section. You are then required to select the amount you want to withdraw and make a withdrawal request. It takes approximately 3 days to process the request and up to another 2 days for the funds to reach your bank account.  

4. Account levels and upgrades

There are a total of 5 ecoAccount levels. These include Classic, Silver, Gold, Platinum and VIP. The Classic ecoAccount is what you have when you initially sign up. It has a lifetime limit of deposits. The Silver ecoAccount allows you to apply for the ecoCard* and ecoVirtualcard*. This will provide you with increased limits to your ecoAccount and allow you to withdraw funds to your personal bank account. The Gold ecoAccount will provide you with higher limits, and let you enjoy free international money transfers. There’s also a reduced static currency conversion fee for your e- wallet transactions. Higher tiers have increased limits and new features that you could access.

5. Paying merchants

Following steps are to be carried out in order to make payments to your merchants. Firstly, you must have an ecoAccount and be registered with the merchant site. You need to have funds in your account. Go above to the deposit section to find out how to make a deposit. Then go onto the merchant’s site, and login to your account located there. Then go to the “Deposit” section and choose ecoPayz as the payment method. Insert the appropriate amount you are going to deposit and then insert your username and password. You are then required to click and “Next” and “Submit” button. Funds are then transferred.
