Champions League final: Who will win?

City are strong favourites at Pinnacle’s outstanding odds of 1.469* while Inter are currently priced at 6.970*.

This isn’t Manchester City’s first attempt at the top European title but it will be their first successful campaign if they beat Inter on Saturday. The Blues have never won the Champions League and reached the final only once, despite competing in 12 championships.

Inter Milan capped off their Serie A season with a win against Torino and finished third in the league – although Juventus helped this by dropping 10 points due to false accounting.

Their Coppa Italia win in May proved they still have the goods in the big games that matter.

Manchester City push at a thunderous pace and Haaland has proven an uncanny ability to create scoring opportunities. The midfield crosses with exceptional accuracy and his overlapping plays create great chances for the wingers who only need to content with a single full back.

Inter’s defence has looked much improved in 2023, and the experience of Francesco Acerbi and Alessandro Bastoni has formed a solid defensive line. They can disrupt attacks well and a creative, skilful midfield can capitalize on the counterattack. The test will be withstanding City’s pace and intensity.

The game could be won and lost in the first half and Pinnacle has great odds of 2.010* for Manchester City to lead in the first half and odds of 1.602* to score in the first half.

Inter are far from a longshot but their defence is unlikely to hold against a dominant Manchester City.
